Materials:
G Hook
WW 4 Ply Yarn (your color choice)
(I used the Red Heart "4996 Ragg" Super Saver Yarn
 

Ch 4, sl st to form a ring.
 
Row 1:   ch 3, 16 dc into the ring.  sl st to join.

Row 2:   ch 3, 2 dc in each st around. sl st to join.

Row 3:   ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, * 1 dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st, 
repeat from * around. sl st to join.

Row 4:   ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, * 1 dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in next, 
repeat from * around. sl st to join.

Row 5:   ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, * 1 dc in next 7 sts, 2 dc in next, 
repeat from * around. sl st to join.

Rows 6-13:  ch 3, 1 dc in each st around. sl st to join.

Row 14:  ch 3, 1 front post st in each st around.  sl st to join.

Row 15:  ch 2, now turn and work in opposite direction, 1 hdc in each 
st around. sl st to join.

Row 16:  ch 3, * 1 front post dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, repeat 
from * around. {alternating 1 front post and 1 regular dc ..around} sl 
st to join.

Rows 17-20 :  repeat row 16 .   end off.  weave in ends.
